New to the library? 6. Reservation of workplaces

Working place in the library

The library offers not only a large selection of print and e-media, but also space for studying. A total of 71 individual seats and 8 group rooms (for TU members only) for 4-6 people can be reserved.

You can make a reservation from the comfort of your home up to one week in advance. Simply visit our homepage and click on “Reservations”. And this is how it works:

  • Log in with the number of your library card and your password.
  • Select the date.
  • You can switch between group rooms and workspaces via the drop-down menu.
  • Select the desired room or space and the time from the overview.
  • If necessary, adjust the period for your reservation.

Don’t forget to bring your library card on the respective day. You will need it to confirm your reservation via the scanner in the entrance area. This is possible at the earliest 30 minutes before the scheduled time. If you do not check-in, your booking will expire 30 minutes after the start of the reservation.

If you no longer need your reservation, you can easily delete it under “My reservations & cancellation”. Here you will also find an overview of all your booked workspace.

Test #2: New chairs – your opinion is wanted in the library foyer starting 15-06-17

Time for something new!

If you have wishes for the library, then two wishes are guaranteed:

  • I would like to work in peace and quiet.
  • I want a lot of room for group work.

For this reason, since summer of 2016 we have opened four new group workrooms on the first floor of our library. The furniture is now to be improved by tables and chairs that you would like.

Also the furniture in the reading room will be renewed and expanded. Please help us to choose the new furniture and test them!

We invite you to take a seat, test, compare and choose the very best.

Please use the questionnaire to comment. Thank you!

In Need for a Working Space?

Starting today, we present four new working spaces with temporary furniture available. There are two large work spaces for small groups and two small, in which two people can work on a library computer. This should serve in the future for learning language.

The new working spaces can be found in the upper reading room behind the CIP-Pool.
