Today is the future day for young people

These days you will find selected books for young people on our yellow Bookcrossing shelf at the entrance.
You can keep these books or put them out for other people to read at another place (e.g. bus stop, café…). However, as the name Bookcrossing suggests, the principle is to pass on the books.

We would be happy to hear where the books are travelling to. To keep track of these journeys, you can register or enter your books on the Bookcrossing website.

We recommend titles on the subject of “child researchers”. You can find them in our catalogue with the keyword “Kinderforscher“. You are welcome to borrow these books by booking them.

Ten years World Heritage Wadden Sea

At the end of June 2009, the UNESCO added the German and Dutch Wadden Sea to its World Heritage List. In 2011 the area was extended to include the Wadden Sea around Hamburg and in 2014 the Danish Wadden Sea followed.

In addition, we present you a selection of literature on our action shelf.

You can now find the action shelf behind the pick-up shelf of the magazine requirements.

We hope for your interest. Borrowing expressly requested.

Our selection is also available in Library Thing.
