New TORE version is online

After an extensive software update, TUHH Open Research (TORE) was released again on June 29, 2023. The publication lists on the institutes’ websites are also accessible again.

Currently, there are still some limitations with certain TORE services, such as submitting new publications and research data. We are working on fixing these problems and optimizing the system. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us: to the TORE team!

What is TORE?

TORE is the repository for Open Access publications and for research data of the Hamburg University of Technology. Members of the TUHH can publish their scientific work such as dissertations, preprints or accepted manuscripts as well as research data here and make them available on a long-term basis.

As a research information system (FIS), TORE makes the research landscape of the TU Hamburg visible to the outside world. Institutes and working groups, researchers, their publications, research data and projects are displayed.

What is better?

TORE presents itself in the web design of the TUHH, which was incorporated by the company effective WEBWORK. The homepage offers a structured overview of the TUHH’s research at a glance. Publications, research data and research information can be explored via various search options.

Why the software update?

With the jump to the new version of the software DSpace-CRIS, provided by the company 4Science, TORE is prepared for further extensions. DSpace is the open source software used to run most publication repositories worldwide.

With the variant DSpace-CRIS we operate the repository and the research information system of the TUHH. Together with the communities we are committed to the open source development of this software.
