About the Research Galaxy
Research Galaxy is a workshop series for researchers at TUHH, running throughout 2026. The series combines two learning paths to support you throughout your research journey.
Two orbits to explore:
- Lecture Orbit: Get essential knowledge about research culture, tools, and legal aspects in 9 informative sessions. These sessions are also part of the established „Collect, Write, Publish“ workshop series offered by the Graduate Academy and the TUHH Library. Topics range from literature research and journal selection to Open Access publishing and copyright.
- Hands-on Orbit: Gain practical skills through interactive workshops on research tools and methods. Learn to work with GitLab, Jupyter Notebooks, Obsidian, Quarto, and other tools that enhance your research workflow.
Participation is free and you can join individual sessions based on your interests and needs. Almost all sessions are conducted in English.
Who should join?
This workshop series is primarily designed for doctoral researchers at TUHH, but postdocs, master students, and all members of the research community are welcome to participate and explore the Research Galaxy.
