University Library Hamburg University of Technology
- In principle, the usual library discount of 5% on fixed retail prices for Scientific University libraries should be granted.
- Even if an older edition was ordered, the latest edition should always be delivered if a different edition is not wished for particularly.
- If a title can be delivered as bound or in parts, the bound edition is always regarded as ordered. Titles which can be delivered as either hardcover or paperback, have to be delivered as a paperback edition.
- If it is not clear whether a title is a thesis, special edition or part of a series, the University Library reserves the right of return.
- If multi-volume or multi-sectional publications can no longer be delivered as a whole as ordered, the University Library reserves the right of return.
- An individual invoice (in single copy) has to be enclosed for every title. Approval invoices have to be issued for approval orders, and can be used for payment later, if necessary.
- The obligation to purchase fixed orders only exists when delivery is in the current financial year.
- If delivery is not possible within the normal time span, the University Library should be notified. If no delivery date can be provided, an interim notification is required twice a year.
- The order number should always appear on invoices, queries and notifications.
