Folding, Writing, Understanding – Your Knowledge as a Zine
6 May 2026, 18:15–19:45
Zines (derived from the word ‘magazine’) are small, homemade booklets and a surprisingly effective way to learn. In this workshop, we’ll take a brief look at the history of these DIY booklets and discover why writing down and designing content deepens our understanding and helps us retain knowledge better. Afterwards, we’ll fold, write, draw and glue: everyone will create their own mini-zine on a topic of their choice and present it to the group. You’ll not only take your own zine home with you, but also a new method that you can integrate straight into your everyday learning routine. No prior knowledge is required. Just curiosity and a bit of courage to doodle, glue and embrace imperfection!
