| Inhalt: | Die Datenbank enthält chemische Daten und Metadaten wie Elementkonzentration, Isotopenverhältnis, analytische Unsicherheit, Methode, Fundort, Probentyp und Alter von circa 280.000 vulkanischen Gesteinen und Mineralen. Diese Daten stammen aus 8.000 wissenschaftlichen Artikeln, die von 1884 bis 2007 veröffentlicht wurden. GEOROC wird vom Max-Planck-Institut für Chemie (Mainz) betreut. |
