| Inhalt: | Die Cuneiform Digital Library Initiative ist eine von internationalen Gruppe von Assyrologen, Museumskuratoren und Wissenschaftshistorikern unterhaltene Datenbank, die Keilschrifttafeln aus dem Zeitraum von ca. 3350 v.Chr. bis ca. 400 v.Chr. digital erschließen will. Die Leitung des Projektes liegt bei der University of California in Los Angeles und dem Max-Planck-Institut für Wissenschaftsgeschichte in Berlin. Gegenwärtig sind ca. 125.000 Keilschrifttafeln von ca. 500.000 weltweit vorhandenen Keilschrifttafeln in der Datenbank katalogisiert. Die Keilschrifttafeln sind u.a. auf Sumerisch, Akkadisch, Babylonisch, Assyrisch, Eblaitisch, Elamisch, Hethitisch, Urartäisch, Altkanaanäisch und Altpersisch verfasst. |
