Welcome Beate Rajski

The appointment of a new library director is now official: with immediate effect, Beate Rajski will take over the directorship.

She is not a stranger to the TU Hamburg; her employment in the library started 1989 and she has rendered outstanding services in many areas over the years. In addition to being a classic librarian, she has decisively shaped the change from the analog to the digital library of the TU Hamburg.

As head of Digital Services, she has often prepared the groundwork for new, innovative services. A major focus of her work is to promote openness in science. Open Science, Open Access and Open Data are important building blocks of scientific culture.

We are looking forward to the future with her as our director.

VDE Standards

We are pleased to inform you that the VDE Standards Library is now available for the TU Hamburg campus network.

At https://normenbibliothek.de you will find the VDE Standards, which were previously only accessible in the library as a single-user version. Unfortunately, printing – or saving – is not possible here.
